From Adam until now, God created each one of us to glorify and enjoy who he is.He is Father, Son, and Spirit, living eternally in unbroken community.We reflect this with an insatiable longing for such a relationship. Our own testimonies give credence to God’s prominence in our redemption. Humility must mark us. We are his redeemed, bought at the cross, sealed for eternity, longing for a resurrection like Christ’s. For now we serve as his heralds, working in harmony like a body, accomplishing all God has purposed. No longer can we find satisfaction in selfish gain, but only in the sharing of the delight we have in our Father.

The Lord has done great things in us! We stand in awe and celebrate His transforming work of grace. He has taken our hearts of stone and transformed them into hearts of flesh. May we not allow this change to simply be for good showing, but may we allow grace to continue its work. We will allow the cross to inspire us to share the gift with a hopeless and hurting world. Freely we have received, may we now, with our whole heart and lives, freely give. We fix our gaze on Christ, the Author and Finisher, of this inspiring work of grace.

But to this end: that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. By His resurrection we live in a life where death shall have no dominion, but grace shall. For the life that Christ lives, He lives to God, and so shall we all. That is cause to celebrate.
